Goofs At approximately into this episode's soundtrack, Jiya Claudia Doumit asks Denise Christopher Sakina Jaffrey , concerning instructions to Wyatt Logan Matt Lantner , why she's not "sending in the calvary [sic]". In response, Denise answers, "I don't trust the calvary [sic]". The correct word, of course, is "cavalry". Although it's properly rendered in the English subtitles, it's just mispronounced. It's certainly easy enough to do given the similar spellings. But what, perhaps, makes it a little more interesting is that this slight error was made by both actresses and apparently not caught on-set.

Learning a bit more about Conner Mason and Rufus' relationship was wonderful for adding character depth to both of them. We see a dejected Mason gain some much-needed confidence. We see Wyatt struggling with and coming to realize the depth of his feelings for Lucy, we see Lucy learning to trust Flynn and Flynn working desperately hard to gain that trust. Just about every character has a vital role to play in this episode. Even the normally boring Agent Christopher has her moments in this one when she scolds Wyatt and lets her dare I say it emotions get the better of her.

Academic field recordists from even a few decades ago had to deal with that, as well. A reference pitch is one way to re-calibrate, back in the lab…. I might even go slower still, who knows???
Do you happen to know how much speed reduction you used? I set it at minus 3. At this speed the bottom dots at the measurementpoint stopped turning. The main thing that convinced me was my hearing, the voice sounds most natural at this speed. This stuff gets remastered every few years. Thanks Moos, outstanding post! I agree, what makes this experiment so compelling is the way the voice sounds so effortless and natural.
