So I have reached the point where updating the chipset drivers may just help do the trick. I have had to reinstall Windows before but the chipset drivers I used where those given in the Dell Resource CD so I figure what was on Dell's website must be newer and could help fix my problem. The devices I am using are an iPod and a Netgear Wireless Internet adapter, both of which are hi-speed capable. I am currently not using any USB both devices are connected direcly to the back of the computer.
